rarescale (Carla Rees, flutes and Amy Jolly, cello) presents Complex Interactions, a selection of new works for solo and duo, exploring the relationships between performer and instrument, the performers themselves, performer and composer and performer and audience. Complex Interactions centres upon a new work for alto flute and cello by Ellen Sargen, and a new duo for baroque flute and cello by David Gorton. The programme also includes solo works by Sam Hayden, David Gorton and Justin Connolly.
